Serielizados Fest presents exclusively in Spain this series premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and produced by the Duplass brothers. With the presence of its director and co-creator, Mel Eslyn.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Penelope is a 16-year-old girl who feels out of place in the modern world. Drawn almost cosmically to nature, and with no plan in mind, she leaves her family behind and wanders into a captivating forest<\/strong> in Washington State, where she begins to forge an alternative life far from the comfort of home.<\/span><\/p>\n

The series had its world premiere at the last edition of the Sundance Film Festival and is produced by the Duplass brother\u2019s<\/strong> company, producers of series such as <\/span>Wild Wild Country<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Somebody Somewhere<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Room 104<\/span><\/i> or <\/span>Togetherness<\/span><\/i>. One of them, Mark Duplass, currently known for his recurring role as an actor on <\/span>The Morning Show<\/span><\/i>, is also co-creator and co-writer of <\/span>Penelope<\/span><\/i> along with Mel Eslyn<\/strong>, who also directs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eslyn has collaborated on several Duplass titles and recently directed the film <\/span>Biosphere<\/span><\/i> (2022). The filmmaker will attend the festival to present the series and offer a Q&A with the audience afterwards.<\/span>.<\/p>\n
