Juanjo S\u00e1ez<\/strong>, cartoonist, comic artist and cultural activist, started out very young, self-publishing his own fanzine with a group of friends. From the Barcelona underground he jumped to the publishing world, working in some of the most important newspapers as a cartoonist, as well as having published a dozen graphic novels, such as El Arte<\/em><\/strong> or Viviendo Del Cuento<\/em><\/strong>. The success of his novels led him to create the cult animated series Arr\u00f2s Covat<\/em><\/strong>, winner of an Ondas award. Finally, he set up his own production company with which he created and produced the animated series Heavies Tendres<\/em><\/strong>, and Roni,<\/em><\/strong> which will premiere soon at Serielizados Fest Barcelona.<\/p>\n Joan Tom\u00e0s<\/strong> is a scriptwriter and director. He began writing scripts and making short films at a very young age, some of which have been selected for important audiovisual festivals. He has recently written and directed the series Roni, in which he also voices the main character, and has directed the film adaptation of the series\u00a0Heavis Tendres.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This Showcase masterclass, sponsored by DAMA, will be moderated by comedian and presenter Oye Sherman,<\/strong> and they will talk about their past and future projects, their creative processes and the world of animation today.<\/p>\n
