Lorenzo Mejino and Jorge Carri\u00f3n<\/strong> will talk about the series that have marked the last ten years, such as Game of Thrones<\/em> and The House of the Dragon<\/em>, Euphoria<\/em> or Stranger Things<\/em>, and the new extended edition of Teleshakespeare<\/strong> (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2022<\/strong>), an emblematic essay on series culture, with 100 new pages of analysis.<\/p>\n

Jorge Carri\u00f3n is a writer, cultural critic and director of the Master in Literary Creation at the BSM-UPF. He writes regularly for La Vanguardia and the Spanish edition of the Washington Post. His books in the field of television and series include his novel Los muertos<\/em><\/strong> (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2015) and his essay Teleshakespeare<\/em><\/a>. He is the author and narrator of Solaris<\/em>, ensayos sonoros<\/em><\/strong> (Podium Podcast, Premio Ondas). He has been translated into fifteen languages.<\/p>\n

Lorenzo Mejino is a tv critic. Through his column in El Diario Vasco, and his regular articles in Serielizados, as well as conferences and podcasts such as Travelling Series<\/strong>, he has become the number 1 series prescriber in Spain. His knowledge of television goes far beyond the conventional, being an expert on series from six continents.<\/p>\n

Teleshakespeare has two goals: on the one hand, forming a guide about the most outstanding television series of recent years, some well known and others yet to be discovered, providing a set of brief, agile and lucid essays about twenty of these productions. On the other hand, this book articulates the first general reflection published in our country on this new visual and narrative phenomenon that has already transformed our definition of the audiovisual story, building, in addition, new models of viewing and interpretation that, thanks to the Internet, acquire an immediate global dimension.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
