The exclusive premiere of the docuseries ‘Locom\u00eda’ (Movistar Plus+), will be the opening of the Serielizados Fest Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu, with the presence of the creator of the group, Xavier Font and the director of the documentary, Jorge Laplace.<\/h2>\n

Lo-co-m\u00eda. Tres s\u00edlabas, que unidas, son historia de nuestro pa\u00eds, de nuestra m\u00fasica y que encierran m\u00e1s matices de los que probablemente logramos recordar. Finales de los a\u00f1os ochenta y principios de los noventa, Espa\u00f1a lucha por cambiar, por modernizarse, por abrirse m\u00e1s al resto del mundo. <\/strong>Y a la vuelta de la esquina: unos Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos y la Exposici\u00f3n Universal de Sevilla. Es en este contexto en el que aparece el ic\u00f3nico cuarteto de electro-pop, Locom\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Three syllables, which together are part of the history of our country, and our music. At the end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties, Spain was struggling to change and open up to the rest of the world<\/strong>. It is in this context that the iconic electro-pop quartet Locom\u00eda<\/strong> appears.<\/p>\n

A story that mixes dreams, betrayals, anarchy, success, homophobia and oblivion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With its dance music, fun choreographies and strident ‘abanicos’, <\/strong>Locomia bursted onto the Spanish music scene and television with an air of partying and transgression that is perhaps better appreciated today than it was back then. This documentary series tells a story that helps to understand a fundamental period in the development of a country that wanted to modernize.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Locom\u00eda<\/strong><\/em> delves into the lights and shadows of our society, showing us how things have changed in the music industry. A story that also mixes dreams, betrayals, anarchy, success, homophobia and oblivion.<\/p>\n

Xavier Font<\/strong> (founder of Locom\u00eda) and Jorge Laplace<\/strong> (director of the documentary) will attend the Serielizados Fest Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu<\/strong> (Ibiza) to present and talk about the project. A unique opportunity to enjoy on the big screen a series about the legacy of a group that could have been a worldwide success.<\/p>\n
