Serielizados Fest premieres this family adventure saga set in the Périgord region, far from Paris and the royal court during the 16th century, when the Wars of Religion are in full swing.
France, 1557. At the castle of the Mespech family, the Wars of Religion are about to shatter the harmony in which servants and lords coexist.
Jean de Siorac, a humanist knight and respected head of the family, who has converted to the new Protestant ideas, is forced to return to violence to defend his community. His wife, Isabelle, a devout Catholic, struggles to find her place in a world where men make the laws. Their sons, Pierre and François, suddenly come of age, torn between two religions, like the rest of the country.
To face their enemies, the Siorac family will have to stay united and overcome their differences to defend their ideal of tolerance.
