Future looks bright for Mohammed, a young man who enjoys his good job and has a wonderful girlfriend. But when he is unexpectedly arrested, his life changes forever.
Mo has a great job as a chef, a beautiful girlfriend, Ida, and a bright future ahead of him. But suddenly, in the middle of a birthday dinner, the police arrests him and his life changes. Mo is arrested and jailed for armed robbery. While waiting for news about her case, Ida visits Mo in jail and tells him that she is pregnant. Both are very excited, but after an intense interrogation with the police, Ida decides to have an abortion.
When Ida tells Mo that she has lost the baby, frustrations build up and Mo ends up having an outburst, but Abdallah, a prison chef and friend, helps him find peace by introducing him to Islam. When Mo is released eight months later, returning to his old life becomes a difficult task. So he decides to ask for help to Abdallah and gets involved in an Islamic aid organization where he meets two Syrian refugee children. Affected by their stories and the latest events in his life, Mohammed decides to go with the aid organization to Syria.
