Serielizados Fest premieres this docuseries that brings together images and stories of adult trans women who suffered the intolerance of society.
The ‘Archivo de la Memoria Trans‘ was born with the aim of gathering the images and stories of trans women over 50 years old, to preserve the memory of those bodies that suffered the outrages of the police, the abandonment of the State and the hostility of the society that witnessed, indolent, a silent genocide.
The images and stories in the archive belong to the period from the 1970s to the late 1990s. Most of those who appear in these images are no longer with us today. Their photos, the irrefutable proof of life in the face of so much oblivion and so much death, passed from hand to hand among those who survived, building not only collective memory but also family.
