Serielizados Fest exclusively premieres the British thriller The Jetty, a dark and poignant look at how women navigate a brutally masculine world, starring Jenna Coleman (Victoria)
When a fire sweeps through a property in a picturesque Lancashire lakeside village, Detective Ember Manning (Jenna Coleman) must figure out how that event connects to a podcast journalist investigating a cold case of a missing person, and an illicit relationship between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.
As Ember gets closer to the truth, it threatens to destroy her life, forcing her to rethink everything she thought she knew about her past, her present, and the city she has always called home. Both a coming-of-age story and a crime thriller, The Jetty asks big questions about sexual morality, identity and memory, in the places #MeToo has left behind.
Reminiscent of Happy Valley, The Jetty is created and written by Cat Jones, directed by Marialy Rivas (Young & Wild, Princesita, Perry Mason), and produced by Natasha Romaniuk.
