Everyone is a prisoner in the new series created by Kim Fupz Aakeson starring Sofie Grabol. Both the criminals and those who guard them.
The story starts when four prison officers, Sammi, Henrik, Miriam and Gert, are forced to conduct a investigation in prison, within three months, to save their jobs and prevent the hierarchy and drug trafficking from dominating the prison.
But the investigation soon turns into a battle for survival, not only inside the prison itself, but also outside its walls. The protagonists work environment is raw and hostile, and their personal lives are full of conflict, loneliness and secrets. Secrets will soon come to light and will have great consequences for all those around them.
A series reminiscent of A Prophet, extremely realistic, which manages to show the problems of prison overcrowding and the lack of resources, while proposing a strong social criticism through issues such as corruption, religion, the clash of cultures and the difficulty of starting over, whether locked up or at liberty.
