Serielizados Fest premieres in Spain ‘Painkiller’, a Swedish series about the peculiar relationship between a mother and daughter.
Painkiller is the story of a mother and daughter who, in their own way, try to improve each other’s lives… but repeatedly fail.
The mother, through what she does best: worrying, cooking, and being brutally honest. The daughter, also, through what she does best: eating her mother’s food and creating art. All of this is portrayed in a series covered in a sweetened neon gray, set in a Gothenburg in constant transformation.
