Tres familias británicas pasan unos días juntos en un lujoso hotel de una isla española. Mientras toma el sol en el balcón de su habitación, el mundo de Jo se pone patas arriba cuando se empiezan a oír disparos en la piscina donde su marido, sus hijos y sus amigos están disfrutando de un baño. Three British families spend a few days together in a luxurious hotel on a Spanish island. While sunbathing on the balcony of her room, Jo’s world is turned upside down when she hears gunshots in the pool where her husband, children and friends are enjoying a swim. A group of armed men will turn paradise into hell in an instant.
With tourists and hotel workers trapped on the premises, Jo will try to save her family members and herself as the killers threaten their lives. To do so, she will use the help of the hotel’s head of security and other guests.
Crossfire is a gripping thriller about survival that manages to keep viewers on their toes, but also a moving, profound and relatable story about survival and family.
Created and written by british writer Louise Doughty, Crossfire was filmed in the Canary Islands, specifically the island of Tenerife, and is co-produced by RTVE. Starring British actress Keeley Hawes (The Durrells, The Bodyguard) as Jo, the cast also includes Hugo Silva and Alba Brunet.
Produced by Dancing Ledge Productions, with distribution by Fremantle and in association with Buddy Club Productions, this series is directed by Tesssa Hoffe (Kin).
