The exclusive premiere of the docuseries ‘Locomía’ (Movistar Plus+), will be the opening of the Serielizados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu, with the presence of the creator of the group, Xavier Font and the director of the documentary, Jorge Laplace.

Three syllables, which together are part of the history of our country, and our music. At the end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties, Spain was struggling to change and open up to the rest of the world. It is in this context that the iconic electro-pop quartet Locomía appears.
A story that mixes dreams, betrayals, anarchy, success, homophobia and oblivion.
With its dance music, fun choreographies and strident ‘abanicos’, Locomia bursted onto the Spanish music scene and television with an air of partying and transgression that is perhaps better appreciated today than it was back then. This documentary series tells a story that helps to understand a fundamental period in the development of a country that wanted to modernize.
Locomía delves into the lights and shadows of our society, showing us how things have changed in the music industry. A story that also mixes dreams, betrayals, anarchy, success, homophobia and oblivion.
Xavier Font (founder of Locomía) and Jorge Laplace (director of the documentary) will attend the Serielizados Fest Santa Eulària des Riu (Ibiza) to present and talk about the project.
